Sir, my direct bilirubin is high and I have occasional right rib cage pain and yellow stool. I have tested LFT and in that report direct bilirubin is high, GGT and ALP are normal, and AST and ALT are slightly high. What can this be? Is it bile acid synthesis disorder where direct bilirubin is high with normal GGT and ALP? I am attaching all my reports including fibroscan which shows 8.12 kPa.

Could be mild cholestasis or Gilberts syndrome. Not typically bile acid synthesis disorder. Repeat LFTs, monitor symptoms. Liver diet, hydration recommended.
Dr. Bhanu Suggests...
Take a LFT (Liver Function) Test Test or Take a Serum Bile Acid Test Test

I wanted to ask about ALP in a liver function test. My ALP level came out to be 141. Does this indicate any problem with my liver? Thank you.
