Sir, my liver function test shows SGPT 45, SGOT 53, total bilirubin 1.1, alkaline phosphatase normal, INR 0.95, A/G ratio normal, but my GGT is high. For context, I am an alcoholic. Please advise what this indicates and what steps I should take next.

Your SGPT and SGOT are slightly raised and GGT is high, which often happens due to alcohol use. Normal INR and A/G ratio are good signs liver is still working fine, but under stress. High GGT shows that your liver is irritated or inflamed. Best step is to stop alcohol fully and give the liver time to heal.
Dr. Yusuf Suggests...
Take a LFT (Liver Function) Test Test or Take a GGT Test (Gamma Glutamyl Tranferase) Test
