The Lupus Anticoagulant test is used to detect clotting related issues often linked with autoimmune disorders. If your report is hard to understand, look for words like positive, negative, dRVVT, or aPTT. A positive result doesnt confirm lupus by itself. Its best to repeat the test and also consider an ANA Profile to check for autoimmune activity. Dont worry many people test borderline and require follow up only.

Dr. Ezhilarasan Suggests...

Take a ANTI NUCLEAR ANTIBODY (ANA) Test or Take a APTT Test (Activated Partial Thromboplastin Time) Test
