Six days ago my sister developed a red spot in one eye. After two days, she started having fever in the evening only, with a maximum temperature of 99.6F, along with slight stomach upset. Her COVID test is negative. I have attached her blood report, done today. Her CRP is 0.38 and platelet count is 115. Please suggest whether this could be COVID or some other issue. Apart from the evening fever and slight stomach upset, her eye is perfectly fine and she has no other symptoms.

Low CRP, mild fever, and red eye may suggest viral conjunctivitis. Not likely COVID. Monitor and repeat CBC, CRP and Dengue NS1 if fever continues. Take the tests if symptoms persist.
Dr. Siri Suggests...
Take a CBC Test (Complete Blood Count) Test or Take a Dengue NS1 Antigen - Elisa Test

View allI got my blood test done yesterday and the results show: Lipoprotein (a): 60.38 mg/dl hsCRP: 3.8 mg/L Total cholesterol: 245 mg/dl LDL: 175 mg/dl I am worried about these values. A day before the test I had cold and throat pain, could that have affected the results, especially hsCRP? I have attached the reports for your review.

Please help me interpret my hs CRP value, which is reported as 14.42 mg/L in my blood test. When I consulted my doctor, they mentioned that hs CRP can increase due to any type of inflammation in the body. I recently underwent an RCT and a tooth implant procedure. Should I repeat the test to reassess the hs CRP level, or is this elevation expected due to the recent dental treatments?

I am 13 weeks pregnant and had a fever. The doctor gave me a blood test, and I am sending my report. I have a low TWBC count in my blood. Is this a problem for me or my baby?
