Question

Today was my day 6. I had a baseline follicular study. The report mentions that the right ovary has 18 follicles and the left ovary has 15 follicles. The largest follicle in the right ovary is 15 mm. It also mentions a nabothian cyst at the cervix. What does this mean. Is it PCOD or PCOS or is my report normal?

The follicle growth on Day 6 is appropriate. The number of follicles may suggest good ovarian reserve, not necessarily PCOD. Nabothian cysts are benign and do not cause concern. Repeat the USG abdomen and pelvis after 4 months to check the size of nabothiam cysts.
