Yes, typhoid can sometimes resolve on its own, especially if mild. Blood test may give false positives due to past exposure. Confirm via blood culture. Vaccinated children can still get mild infection. Please consult a doctor for further evaluation.

My Widal test report shows: S. Typhi O: 1:160 (positive) S. Typhi H: 1:80 (positive) I took medication for typhoid, but I still experienced headache, nausea, and giddiness. I consulted another doctor, who said the Widal report may not be reliable and it could just be a viral fever. Could you please clarify whether this report indicates typhoid or not?

Hello I was diagnosed with typhoid in August. From that day till now I have visited many doctors and I am still using antibiotics. Today I got my blood sample tested again for typhoid and it is still showing positive. I am still feeling weakness and have lost around 10 kg in these 3 months. I am attaching my report.
