What can be the possible reason for sharp pain in the lower abdomen near the vagina. My urine report indicated a urine infection but the pain is not going. I have been taking Ciplox TZ for three days but there is no relief?

If antibiotics are not helping, it could be a resistant infection or another cause like a vaginal issue. Please revisit your doctor for a urine culture or pelvic exam , the doctor might extend ur antibiotics course for a little longer time . Maintain Hygiene and Hydration, avoid using public toilets to avoid recurrent Urinary Tract Infection
Dr. Yusuf Suggests...
Take a Urine Culture Test Test or Take a KFT with Electrolytes (Kidney Funtion) Test

View allHi Doctor, for the past five days I have been suffering from a urinary infection. The doctor at the nearest hospital advised me to undergo a urine routine and culture test. The routine test came out normal, and the culture report is still awaited. Meanwhile, I had an ultrasound done, which suggested cystitis and an ovarian cyst on the right side. I am yet to consult the doctor with these reports tomorrow. I am experiencing nocturia and feel my bladder is full even after urinating. Frequent urination is very annoying. I am currently taking Zenflox 200. Please suggest what should be done?

Hello doctor, I am experiencing extreme pain in my clitoris while urinating. A few weeks ago, my urine test showed a positive result for a urinary tract infection, but I did not take any medication. Now, I am having pain in my clitoris, and my urine is very dark in color, sometimes with blood. I would like to know what might be causing these symptoms and what I should do next.

I had a bad odor from my vagina, frequent urination, and no abdominal pain. I consulted a doctor, and she prescribed Clingen Forte, Urikind, Zifi, and Urispas. I completed the course and also submitted my urine and blood for testing. My report shows occasional gram negative coccobacilli and gram positive cocci. Please help.
