What can be the possible reason for sharp pain in the lower abdomen near the vagina. My urine report indicated a urine infection but the pain is not going. I have been taking Ciplox TZ for three days but there is no relief?

If antibiotics are not helping, it could be a resistant infection or another cause like a vaginal issue. Please revisit your doctor for a urine culture or pelvic exam , the doctor might extend ur antibiotics course for a little longer time . Maintain Hygiene and Hydration, avoid using public toilets to avoid recurrent Urinary Tract Infection

Dr. Yusuf Suggests...

Take a Urine Culture Test Test or Take a KFT with Electrolytes (Kidney Funtion) Test

After completing a one week course of medication she had her urine lab done again but her pus cells are still high along with high epithelial cells. Is this something very serious? I am attaching her two urine reports before and after her medication. The one marked with a pen is the first report and the one with no pen mark is the latest report.

My father blood test showed a creatinine level of 9 and potassium level of 7.56, so the doctor advised immediate dialysis. He has undergone two dialysis sessions so far, one the day before yesterday and one today. The ultrasound report shows that both kidneys are normal in size and there are no stones. However, the urine report indicates elevated RBCs and pus cells. Now, the doctor is recommending a kidney biopsy. I would like to understand what the next steps should be and whether the biopsy is necessary at this stage.
