High mercury and under cooked fish like shark/ tuna/ kung mackerel/ sword fish , undercooked/ raw and processed meat, raw eggs, excess caffeine and alcohol are harmful for the baby.

I'm concerned because I missed my double marker test but I did manage to get my NT scan right at the start of my 14th week. Are the results from this NT scan accurate at 14 weeks? My doctor mentioned doing the Triple Marker test at 16 weeks, but I'm wondering if the Triple Marker test is better than the Quadruple Marker test. The NT scan is a risk assessment tool, not a diagnostic test. It can't tell for sure if a baby has a problem, so another test is needed to confirm a diagnosis.The quadruple marker test is generally more sensitive than the triple marker test, and is recommended for women who are at higher risk of chromosomal abnormalities
