Hi Doctor, I am 29 weeks pregnant. I did my GTT test four days ago. My fasting was 88, 1 hour post 75 mg glucose was 179, and 2 hour post was 160. The doctor advised me to monitor blood sugar at home twice a day at two day intervals (FBS, after breakfast, after lunch, after dinner alternatively, and 1 hour post meal). On 13th, my fasting was 78, and 1 hour post lunch was 115. On 14th, 1 hour post breakfast was 157, and 2 hour post breakfast was 117. Today, 1 hour post breakfast was 161, and 2 hour post was 102. Are my readings correct? I am a bit worried. The doctor told me to measure only 1 hour post readings, but I am also measuring 2 hour readings. Please help me understand what I should do to control this diabetes? I also have PCOD and thyroid issues for the last four years.
