Why would my doctor recommend the lipid profile test?

My report states that the left ovary is bulky and shows a well defined uniloculated cystic lesion measuring approximately 39 by 35mm, described as a simple cyst without any internal echoes, septa, calcification, or nodules. My homeopathy doctor said there is nothing to worry about. Is this really normal? What precautions should I take, how can it be treated, and what problems could this cyst potentially cause?
