I've had these red and white bumps at the back of my throat where my tonsils were removed back in 2011. They showed up with a sore throat which is gone now, but the bumps haven't disappeared. Is there anything I can do to make them go away?

I've been dealing with pain in my right ear for the past few days and it's really starting to bother me. Could you give me some advice on what might help with the pain relief?

Congratulations on your pregnancy! Given your medical history and current situation, your doctor has likely prescribed: - Duvadilan Retard 40mg: to relax the uterine muscles and prevent preterm labor - Forcef antibiotic: as a precautionary measure, despite no confirmed urine infection Safety: - Duvadilan: generally considered safe during pregnancy, but monitor for side effects like dizziness or nausea - Forcef antibiotic: likely a broad-spectrum antibiotic; ensure you complete the full course and monitor for any adverse reactions High CRP levels indicate inflammation. Your doctor will likely monitor this closely. Please follow your doctor's guidance and attend regular check-ups to ensure the best possible outcome for you and your baby.

My nose feels really dry, and I can even feel the dryness when I'm breathing. It's uncomfortable, and I've tried putting on some Vaseline, but I'm not sure if that's enough. Is there anything else I should be doing to help with this dryness?

I recommend using a saline nasal spray to help moisturize your nasal passages. You can also try using a humidifier in your room to add moisture to the air. If the dryness persists, you can use a nasal gel like Rhinase to help lubricate your nasal passages.

My ENT specialist diagnosed me with grade 4 tonsillitis and recommended surgery. I'm worried is surgery really necessary at my age? Could there be any long-term issues if I delay or avoid it?

A Grade 4 tonsillectomy recommendation by your ENT specialist, especially if it's for recurrent tonsillitis, is often a serious consideration. While surgery might seem daunting, delaying or avoiding it could lead to persistent or severe complications, and it's crucial to have an open discussion with your doctor about your concerns.
