My nose feels really dry, and I can even feel the dryness when I'm breathing. It's uncomfortable, and I've tried putting on some Vaseline, but I'm not sure if that's enough. Is there anything else I should be doing to help with this dryness?

I recommend using a saline nasal spray to help moisturize your nasal passages. You can also try using a humidifier in your room to add moisture to the air. If the dryness persists, you can use a nasal gel like Rhinase to help lubricate your nasal passages.

I'm dealing with a sore throat that really bothers me at night, but it gets a bit better from morning to afternoon. There's no fever or anything like that. I'm finding it hard to concentrate on my exams because of this. What can I do to ease the discomfort?

It sounds like you may be experiencing symptoms of a viral infection causing your sore throat. To help relieve your symptoms and focus on your exams, you can try taking over-the-counter pain relievers like acetaminophen (e.g. Tylenol) or ibuprofen (e.g. Advil) for pain relief. Additionally, you can use throat lozenges or gargle with warm salt water to soothe your throat. It's also important to stay hydrated by drinking plenty of fluids and get enough rest. If your symptoms persist or worsen, it's best to consult with a healthcare professional for further evaluation and management.

I've got a situation with an enlarged submandibular gland that showed up as 11cm on the ultrasound. It's strange because there's no pain or swelling when I eat. I've been on Amoxy-Clav and Tibrolin tablets for about 12 days now, but there hasn't been any change. What could be going on, and should I be worried about this lack of improvement?

See a specialist for accurate diagnosis and targeted treatment.

I've been dealing with a throat infection for the past 15 days and it's not getting any better. I've already taken a lot of antibiotics as the doctor prescribed, but it still hasn't cleared up. What should I do next? Could I be missing something important in my treatment?

In such cases, your doctor may consider prescribing a different class of antibiotics or other medications. You can try using lozenges containing Benzocaine or Dyclonine for symptomatic relief. Additionally, you can use over-the-counter pain relievers like Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen for pain and inflammation. Gargling with warm salt water can also help soothe your throat. If the symptoms persist, please consult your doctor for further evaluation and management.
