Based on the test report, several values indicate either an increase or deficiency in health. Platelet distribution width (PDW) is 9.1 fl and platelet to large cell ratio (PLCR) is 13.7 percent. The APO B / APO A1 ratio is 1.3. Blood ketone (D3HB) is 0.2 mg/dl. Homocysteine is elevated at 46.6 micromol/L. Ferritin is high at 613.2 ng/ml. HDL cholesterol is low at 25 mg/dl, triglycerides are high at 227 mg/dl, TC/HDL cholesterol ratio is 7.1, LDL/HDL ratio is 4.6, and VLDL cholesterol is 45.4 mg/dl. High homocysteine and cholesterol profile raise heart risk. HDL is low, triglycerides high. Ferritin is very high (inflammation or iron overload). Lifestyle changes, folate/B12, and statin therapy may be needed. Repeat tests and consult a physician.
Dr. Yusuf Suggests...
Take a Lipid Profile Test Test or Take a Homocysteine Test Test
