My blood report shows raised cholesterol values. Total cholesterol 221, triglycerides 224, LDL 159, VLDL 44.8, HDL 35. Is there any need for medicine for these values?

Your lipid levels are high, especially LDL and triglycerides. Medication may be needed if lifestyle changes dont help or if you have heart risk factors. Start with diet, exercise, and regular monitoring. Consult a doctor for a personalized plan.

Hi, I recently did a regular health check up, and my LDL cholesterol is high. I have attached the report for reference. Could you please advise whether I should consult a doctor for further evaluation, or can I try lifestyle modifications for some time before seeking medical advice?
