Can COVID 19 cause a false positive typhoid result? Please clear my doubt. Today, I was confirmed typhoid positive. Here is my report.

COVID does not cause false positive typhoid. However, Widal test (if used alone) is unreliable. Typhidot or blood culture is more accurate.

My Widal test report shows the following, Typho O 1/320, H 1/160, AH 1/40, and BH 1/40. I am also experiencing sleepless nights and pain in my legs.

In my Widal test report, the O antigen reacted at 1:320, and the H antigen reacted at 1:320. The AH antigen and BH antigen were non reactive.

Hi. In my Widal test report, S. typhi O is 1:320 and S. typhi H is 1:80. I started having fever on 6th November. After one week, I vomited three times a day and had loose motions, so I took two drips a day and medicines to stop the loose motions and vomiting. My blood pressure also went down to 80 by 60. Since 13th November until now, I have had loose motions and slight fever. I also experience stomach pain and bloating. I feel tired almost all day long. Is it typhoid or something else?
