Can I get ACL ligament reconstruction surgery under the Arogyasri scheme in Telangana at top hospitals like KIMS, Sunshine, Yashoda, Apollo, Maxcure, or Srikara? I'm worried about the coverage and quality of care at these places for this procedure

View allI'm 18 and struggling with knocked knees (genu valgum) that cause pain when I walk. I really don't want surgery but the exercises I found online aren't helping maybe because I'm doing them wrong without guidance. What non-surgical options actually work for correcting knock knees?
Non surgical options include bracing, physical therapy, orthotic devices and in some cases surgery is advised.

I have a grade 3 tear in the posterior horn of my medial meniscus but can walk fine and bend my knee fully. Do I need surgery for this or can it heal on its own?
A grade 3 tear in the posterior horn of the medial meniscus usually indicates a complete tear, which typically does not heal on its own due to limited blood supply in that area. However, if you're not experiencing pain, instability, or functional limitations, conservative management like physiotherapy may be sufficient. An orthopedic consultation is recommended to assess the need for surgery based on your activity level and symptoms.

I had a major humerus fracture and got a plate put in almost two years back. Now I'm having pain when I move my arm too much at work and can't lift my left hand above my shoulder. What can I do to help it heal better and when would be the right time to get the plate removed?
You can get the plate removed now. Start physiotherapy exercises to relieve stiffness.
