Can I manage heavy bleeding and endometrial hyperplasia without surgery? My endometrium is thick and I have polyps but I'm hoping to avoid an operation are there other options?
Answered by 1 Apollo Doctors
Yes, many cases of endometrial hyperplasia and heavy bleeding can be managed effectively without surgery. Progestin therapy is often the first line of treatment, and in some cases, other medical options like hormonal IUDs or medications can help reduce bleeding and manage the hyperplasia. Lifestyle changes and regular monitoring with your doctor are also important aspects of management.

View allI've been struggling with painful intercourse with my husband it feels like hitting a wall no matter how many times we try. We've used different lubricants and gels, but nothing helps. Is there any medical procedure or surgery to help enlarge or break the hymen so we can have successful intercourse?
If painful intercourse is caused by a restrictive hymen, a medical procedure called a hymenotomy can be performed to break or enlarge the hymen. This procedure can help to alleviate pain and make intercourse more comfortable. However, it's important to consult with a healthcare professional to determine if this is the root cause of the pain and to discuss whether a hymenotomy is appropriate for you. There may also be other medical or psychological factors contributing to the pain, so a thorough evaluation is crucial.

I'm in my ninth month of pregnancy and I've been having a really hard time with constipation. Drinking a lot of water doesn't seem to help much. Even when I take 15ml of Duphalac syrup at night, I'm still struggling to pass stool and have to push really hard. I found out I have a small clear cyst on my cervix measuring 9.66 cm and they called it a nabothian cyst. Is this something that needs surgery or can it be left alone? I'm a bit worried about the size since it seems large
Nabothian cysts are benign—even 9.6 mm size rarely needs surgery unless symptomatic or infected.
