Duration of Antibiotics: Amoxycillin is typically prescribed for 5 to 7 days. The exact duration depends on the infection's type and severity.
-
Cause of Lymph Node Swelling: Antibiotics like amoxycillin are effective only for bacterial infections. Swollen lymph nodes can also result from viral infections or other causes.
-
Safety and Monitoring: Do not extend antibiotic use beyond the prescribed duration without consulting a healthcare provider. This prevents resistance and side effects.
-
Next Steps: Consult your healthcare provider to assess your symptoms and determine if continuing antibiotics is necessary. Seek medical attention if symptoms worsen or new symptoms appear. Always follow your doctor's instructions for safe and effective treatment.

View allI've been taking dolo 650 for the last couple of days because my fever isn't going below 100 degrees. Is it okay if I take two dolo 650 tablets at once, or should I be considering something else since it's been persistent for 2 days? I'm really just looking for some guidance on how to get better.
It's generally not recommended to take two Dolo 650 tablets at once, as it could lead to an overdose of paracetamol. If your fever persists, it's best to consult a doctor to determine the appropriate treatment or dosage for your situation. Make sure to stay hydrated and rest well!

I'm really not that great at English, so bear with me. Anyway, about five days ago, I started feeling this chest tightness and had a lump-in-the-throat kind of feeling. I checked online and decided to drink a bottle of Smirnoff Mule vodkait works as my soda substitute. It helped a bit, though I could still feel a bit of tightness, but not as bad as before. So now, three days later, I'm feeling this discomfort in my lower left rib cage and my back, but there's no pain when I press on the area, and it disappeared after 24 hours. Right now, it's more about discomfort on the left side of my throat when I swallow, near my Adam's apple. I haven't had a fever since last week, either. Could you guide me on where I might be able to have a general check-up around the BGC or Pembo Makati area?
Patient is advised tab augmentin 625 mg ,orally, thrice daily for 7 days, tab levocetrizine 10 mg bedtime for 5 days and syrup salbutamol 10 ml thrice dailly for 7 days .
