View allMy mom is 47 and diabetic, she just had cataract surgery in one eye and can see far distances clearly now. The doctor wants to use a different focal lens in her other eye so one eye sees far and the other sees near. Is this approach safe and effective for someone with diabetes? Will she adjust okay to having each eye focused differently?

my right eye vision is 6/18 can it improve to normal naturally without glasses or surgery
A 6/18 vision (also known as 20/60) is considered significantly impaired, and it's unlikely to improve to normal (6/6 or 20/20) vision naturally without glasses or surgery. While certain practices can improve vision-related skills and reduce strain, they cannot alter the underlying refractive error causing the blurry vision.
