He recently had a health checkup. Please advise if any prescription is required. He has diabetes, high uric acid, and high blood pressure, and he is already taking medicines for these. Whenever he scratches his skin, it becomes black. Please tell us the reason for this.

Darkened itchy skin after scratching may indicate chronic eczema or post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Diabetes may worsen skin healing. Ensure blood sugars are well controlled. CONSULT DERMATOLOGY

Respected doctors, my dad took a blood sugar test on 25th July in the afternoon after having lunch. It showed his blood sugar level as 289. To confirm, we took the blood test the next day, 26th July, which showed a completely different sugar level of 125 fasting and 153 after breakfast. After seeing both reports, the diabetologist advised my dad to exercise and walk more. Which sugar level is accurate? The first one taken after lunch or the second report taken in the morning, fasting and after food? Currently, he has not been prescribed any medicines and is taking the morning reading as the accurate one.
