Hello, Could you please suggest the best vitamin D capsules or supplements? My friend vitamin D level is 15?ng/mL. I have advised her to get at least 30 minutes of morning sunlight daily.

Your friends vitamin D is quite low at 15. Sunlight is great, but she will also need a supplement. You can suggest one capsule of D3 Must 60K, Depura 60K, or Calcirol 60K once weekly for 6 to 8 weeks. After that, one per month as maintenance. Retest in 2 to 3 months.

View allHi, I am a 20 year old female recently diagnosed with a very low vitamin D level, my 25(OH) Vitamin D (total) result was less than 8.0 ng per mL, based on a blood test done around 4 months ago. I was advised to take Vitamin D3 60,000 IU once a week for 2 months. However, since I also have vitiligo and am currently undergoing depigmentation treatment, I strictly avoid sun exposure. I have heard that in such cases, a longer term vitamin D supplement may be necessary. Could you please guide me on how much vitamin D I should be taking daily in my situation? Also, should I be taking magnesium supplements alongside, and if so, in what dosage?

For the past two months I have been having an internal pain in both my knees. My blood report is normal and there is no external swelling or redness. However, I feel internally as though my knees are numb and in spite of doing basic exercises I feel a pressure on my knees while walking. This problem persists throughout the day, making it difficult for me to even walk. As of the past two months I have been facing problems in walking and hence I take rest at home. The orthopaedic doctor checked my knees externally and said there is no problem. I request you to suggest the remedy that I should do to cure this problem as I am in deep pain. Thank you.
