Hello Doctor, I am 18 years old. I did not get my period until the age of 16. At that time, a doctor prescribed some medication to help start my periods. After taking the tablets, I got my period only once, and then it stopped again. However, for the past two months, I have been getting my period 3 to 4 times a month. It stops for just 2 to 3 days and then starts again. My recent blood report shows that my prolactin levels are high. Please help me understand what might be causing this and what treatment I may need?

Irregular bleeding plus high prolactin suggests a hormone imbalance. Repeat the prolactin fasting, add thyroid and female hormones, and sometimes do a pituitary MRI. Once the cause is fixed, cycles usually settle.

I am 30 years old and under infertility treatment. All tests for me and my husband are normal, but my eggs are not growing properly. I want to conceive. My report says both ovaries are bulky in volume with a PCO pattern, and there are multiple small follicles seen with central echogenic parenchyma. The right ovary volume is 23 ml, and the left is 13 ml. Can I get pregnant or not, and is this a serious issue?
