Hello doctor I am Ravi age 25. I have a big problem with weight gain and even after following a weight gain diet and gym my weight remains constant at 52 kg. A few days ago I was drinking alcohol regularly and after that I developed pain below the chest, weight loss, loss of appetite, malaise, shortness of breath, depression, and ringworm on legs and hands. The doctor checked my blood report and chest X ray but was unable to diagnose. Please help me?

Ravi, based on your symptoms, we need to rule out, liver irritation due to alcohol, nutritional deficiency or infection. Weight gain can take time and may need a protein rich diet and supplements. Since your tests were inconclusive, further work up may be needed.

Take a LFT (Liver Function) Test Test or Take a CBC Test (Complete Blood Count) Test
