Hello Doctor. I have been under medication for thyroid for the last 5 years. I am taking Thyronorm 25 mcg regularly. I have not done any tests in the past one year. As per the last test report done in February, the results were Serum Free T3 2.35 pg/ml, Serum Free T4 1.21 ng/dl, and Serum TSH 1.10 uIU/ml. Please advice?

Even if stable, annual thyroid function tests are necessary. Values last year were fine but need update. Please take a thyroid profile now.

My aunt is 43 years old and has been diagnosed with a thyroid nodule. Is surgery the only way to treat it? I was considering consulting a homeopath, can homeopathy help cure the nodule without surgery? Are there any naturopathy treatments or home remedies that can help remove it?

I am 38 years old, weigh 76 kg, and am 5.9 inch tall. I take 25 mcg Thyronorm for mildly elevated thyroid levels, a dosage that was initially suggested during my pregnancy in 2016 to maintain TSH around 3 to 4. About 8 months ago, my TSH rose slightly above the range (5.4), and I continued the same dosage. I recently learned about the health benefits of basil seeds and have started consuming 2 teaspoons of soaked basil seeds in lemon water daily. However, I read that people with thyroid issues should consult their doctor before taking them. I also have high cholesterol. Could you please advise whether it is safe for me to continue taking basil seeds daily?
