Hello doctor my wife is 7 weeks pregnant and a bit worried. Her blood report shows TSH 4.83 and free T4 12.16. TSH seems a bit high and free T4 is normal. I have attached the blood report. Are there any serious issues and does this require any treatment?

Your TSH is slightly higher than we usually like in early pregnancy. It is common and manageable, and sometimes a small dose of thyroid medicine is started to support the pregnancy better.
Dr. Dhankecha Suggests...
Take a TSH Test (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone) Test

View allI had a sixteen day period flow last month. I visited a local doctor who prescribed medicine to stop the flow and asked me to visit a gynecologist if it continued. My flow stopped after taking the prescription. After a week, my flow started again, so I visited a gynecologist. The gynecologist said everything is normal and the flow may be due to hormonal changes or thyroid issues. He gave me a prescription and asked for a blood test to check thyroid. My flow stopped again after taking the prescription, and I got my blood tested. Currently, all hospitals in my area are full, so I could not visit the gynecologist to show my blood test report. I have attached my blood test report and the prescription. Please guide me about my condition now and future prescription if I get periods again with long flow duration?

I am 41 years old and have been suffering from serious mental illness for the last 10 years. The medicines I take are lithium bicarbonate, amisulpride, Phendy Plus and the sleeping tablet zolpidem. I searched on the internet about these medicines and found that they are used to treat schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and parkinsonism. I want to know about ayurvedic medicine as I have not got any results from allopathic medicines.

Nilesh here. I have been suffering from hyperthyroidism for more than 2 years and am under treatment with Dr. Archana Juneja at Kokilaben Ambani Hospital. Despite treatment, my thyroid levels have not normalized. My latest report shows T3: 540.85, T4: 23.00, and TSH: less than 0.008. Please suggest what should be done next?
