Hello Doctor, my wife has been experiencing itching in the clitoral area for the past 15 days, which is sometimes difficult for her to resist. She also feels pain in that area. We consulted a doctor, who suggested a urine test and prescribed medication. I have attached both the lab report and the prescription. Please advise, as the symptoms have not yet resolved. Additionally, after sexual activity, she experiences itching or irritation in the same area.

Persistent itching may suggest resistant infection, allergy, or fungal cause. Avoid intercourse until symptoms resolve. She may need a repeat swab or vaginal culture. Hygiene, cotton underwear, and avoidance of irritants are important.
Dr. Yusuf Suggests...
Take a Urine Routine Test Test

View allI am unmarried. I had a diagnostic and operative laparoscopy for endometriotic cysts (size 3x2x1 cm). After one month from surgery, I was put on Duphaston tablets. After three months from surgery, I got an USG done. It stated there is evidence of cystic lesion with internal echoes and septations in left adnexa about 4.3x4.2 cm. The impression mentioned is left adnexa haemorrhagic cyst. Along with this, I have symptom of constant urge to urinate. I also had this same symptom prior to surgery. I am currently taking Femilon as suggested and my gynaecologist prescribed medicines like Urifast and some antibiotics for this urinary sensation. My urine report is normal. My doctor said the cyst is functional. But I am worried as I am getting these urinary symptoms which are similar to my prior surgery symptoms. My pelvic pain has reduced, though not completely gone. I am still worried. Please suggest? I have attached USG report.

My urine report shows pus cells 20 to 24. Both kidneys show a few tiny calculi with the largest 3 mm on the right side and 2 mm on the left side. No hydronephrosis is seen on either side.
