Hello Doctor, my wife has been experiencing itching in the clitoral area for the past 15 days, which is sometimes difficult for her to resist. She also feels pain in that area. We consulted a doctor, who suggested a urine test and prescribed medication. I have attached both the lab report and the prescription. Please advise, as the symptoms have not yet resolved. Additionally, after sexual activity, she experiences itching or irritation in the same area.

Persistent itching may suggest resistant infection, allergy, or fungal cause. Avoid intercourse until symptoms resolve. She may need a repeat swab or vaginal culture. Hygiene, cotton underwear, and avoidance of irritants are important.

My partner is also having similar issues, including kidney pain and some abnormal values in her blood report, such as a high pH level. Based on these symptoms, I suspect it might be a urinary tract infection for both of us.
