Hello doctors, my recent blood report shows that my vitamin B12 level is 240. Do I need to increase it and how. I am a pure vegetarian. If supplements are needed please suggest the best option and the correct usage.

B12 is borderline low. Consider B12 supplement, such as methylcobalamin 1500 mcg daily for 3 months. Include milk, curd, and fortified cereals in your diet. Do repeat Serum B12 after 3months.

I am 25 years old and have been experiencing weakness, fatigue, shortness of breath, excessive sleep, and occasional hand shivering. I consulted a doctor who advised various tests, including an X ray, all of which came back normal. The doctor said I am okay and recommended focusing on diet and exercise, which I am already doing. Another doctor suggested testing my Vitamin B12, Vitamin D3, and calcium levels. Although my mother received injections and has normal reports, my tests show a Vitamin B12 level of 182 (normal range 239 to 931) and Vitamin D (25hydroxy) level of 18.8 (normal range 20 to 100). Are these results normal? Please advise on what steps I should take.
