Question
Hello, I am Anushka Bhattacharya. I want to get myself tested to check if I have a thyroid problem and for insulin resistance. Which tests should I opt for? Kindly guide me.

To test for a thyroid problem, you need a Thyroid Profile: TSH, Free T3, and Free T4. For checking insulin resistance, get a Fasting Insulin test, Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS), and calculate HOMA IR. You can also add HbA1c to assess long term sugar control. These tests should be done in the morning after 10 to 12 hours of fasting. They will help you detect early signs of thyroid dysfunction and metabolic imbalance.

Take a Thyroid - Free FT3, FT4 & TSH Test Test or Take a Insulin Fasting Test Test
