Hello, For the past 4 to 5 days, I have been experiencing frequent urination. My urine report shows the presence of uric acid crystals. Can uric acid crystals cause frequent urination, or could prediabetes be the reason? Please review the attached urine report.

Uric acid crystals may cause irritation, but are not a common reason for frequent urination. Prediabetes can lead to increased urination. It is best to check your sugar levels to rule that out. Avoid drinking hard water.

I have been noticing swelling in my left foot that increases during the day and stays until I go to bed. There is also mild swelling in my right foot. My height is 5 ft 5.5 inches, weight 67 kg, and I am not diabetic (HbA1c is 5). However, my uric acid level is high at 9.4. I consulted a doctor who prescribed Febustat 40, Uprise D3 60K, Supracal HD, and Neurobion Forte. I have been on these medicines for the past two days but have not seen any relief yet. I was also advised to consult a cardiologist. My BP is normal, and I do not have any discomfort otherwise. I walk briskly for an hour every morning, though I am mostly sedentary during the rest of the day. I have been following a Keto diet for almost a year, during which my diabetes reversed and I lost 21 kg rapidly, all within a few weeks. I am now maintaining my weight with the same diet. I would like to get advice from a Keto friendly doctor regarding my swelling issue.
