Hey, so we had sex early Sunday morning and my girlfriend took an ipill that night. Then we ended up having unprotected sex again on Tuesday. I'm just wondering if the ipill will still work for the second time or does she need to take another pill?

The effectiveness of emergency contraceptive pills like i-pill decreases if taken multiple times in a short period. It is recommended to not rely on i-pill as a regular form of contraception. For the recent unprotected sex on Tuesday, your girlfriend can consider taking another emergency contraceptive pill like Unwanted 72 within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse to reduce the risk of pregnancy.

Effectiveness of I-pill: The I-pill is intended for use after a single act of unprotected sex. It is not effective for subsequent unprotected intercourse without taking another dose.
-
Recommendation: Since unprotected sex occurred again on Tuesday, the I-pill taken after the first instance will not protect against pregnancy from the second instance. It is advisable to take another dose of the emergency contraceptive as soon as possible.
-
Contraceptive Advice: Emergency contraceptives are not meant for regular use. Discussing ongoing contraceptive options with a healthcare provider is beneficial for future protection.

View allI'm feeling really concerned about something. I got an HSV IgG test result of 0.85 and I've been noticing some redness in the genital area, along with itching and these weird tingling pains in my thighs. Does this mean I have herpes or could it be something else? What's confusing me more is that when I did a test last month, it came back negative. Can you tell me if these results might be accurate and suggest any treatment options?
Yes that could be Herpes, need to take antiviral medicines and topical creams ,visit Dermatologist for appropriate management

I'm really concerned about my wife. She started having sudden shivering at night, and it's the third day of her monthly period. There's no fever, so I gave her hot milk and a 650 mg dose of paracetamol. I'm trying to understand what might be causing this. Could it be related to her period, or is there something else going on?
Shivering may be caused due to hormonal imbalance or dehydration and muscle cramps. It is advisable to get a blood test done for safety, but there should be no major cause for concern.
