Hi, I am 22 weeks pregnant. My recent tests show: Glucose challenge test: 65 mg/dL Urine: Pus cells 5 to 6/hpf, Epithelial cells 4 to 6/hpf Hemoglobin: 11.1 g/dL Are these results normal, or is there anything to be concerned about?

A glucose challenge test of 65 mg/dL is low but not alarming unless you had symptoms of dizziness or fainting. Mild pus cells (5 to 6) and epithelial cells in urine are common in pregnancy and usually not worrisome. Hemoglobin of 11.1 is acceptable during pregnancy. Keep monitoring levels and ensure good hydration, diet, and iron intake. Repeat Urine Routine, Hemoglobin, and Glucose in your next prenatal checkup.

I had a UTI and was treated with cefixime 400 mg twice a day for 7 days. Here are the results of my repeat urinalysis: color yellow, transparency slightly turbid, specific gravity 1.010, reaction pH 5.0, sugar/albumin/protein negative, WBC pus cells 8 to 12 hpf, RBC 0 to 2 hpf, epithelial cells moderate, and bacteria few. What does this mean?
