Hi, I have been diagnosed with PCOS, vitamin D deficiency, and low hemoglobin. I completed the treatment course prescribed by my doctor. I also consulted a dermatologist for acne, hair fall, and severe dandruff. I am currently using Avene sunscreen as prescribed, but I still have acne marks on my face, along with ongoing hair fall and dandruff. Please suggest what I can do to improve my skin and hair condition.

PCOS causes acne, hair fall, dandruff. Continue meds, healthy diet, exercise. Use gentle cleanser, non comedogenic moisturizer. Continue sunscreen. Consult doctor for medicated shampoo if needed. Do Thyroid Profile, Ferritin if hair fall persists.

Dr. Yusuf Suggests...

Take a Thyroid Profile (T3 T4 TSH) Test Test or Take a Ferritin Test Test
