Question

Hi. I was recently diagnosed with diabetes. My fasting blood sugar is 320, postprandial is 400, and HbA1c is 12.2. My triglyceride level is also higher than the normal limit. Can you please help me understand how to manage and overcome this condition?

Fasting 320, PP 400, and HbA1c 12.2 indicate uncontrolled diabetes needing immediate medical treatment. High triglycerides are common with uncontrolled sugars. Consult your doctor to start medication promptly. Follow a low carb diet, avoid sugar and fried foods, walk 30 minutes daily, and stay hydrated. Regular monitoring is essential to prevent complications. Do Liver Function Test (LFT), Kidney Function Test (KFT), and Lipid Profile to assess your baseline health before treatment.

Dr. Bhanu Suggests...

Take a LFT (Liver Function) Test Test or Take a KFT with Electrolytes (Kidney Funtion) Test
