How can I gently wean my almost 2-year-old off breastfeeding since I need to have refractive surgery soon She's down to just a few feeds but refuses to stop completely and I'm not sure how to make the transition easier for her

View allI had LASIK surgery about a year ago but still have dryness and pain in my eyes. I've been using gentle care drops and gel for the past year, though not regularly. Is this normal or should I be concerned about something else going on?

My myopia is at -7 and keeps getting worse, plus I'm seeing these floaters everywhere. Should I be worried about this? Do I need surgery or is there another way to manage it?
Should you worry about flashes and floaters? Both are very common, especially in older people, and more often than not they are nothing to worry about. If they are bothersome, dark glasses have been found to minimise the presence of floaters and you can discuss options with your optometrist.

My eye power is 2.25 in both eyes and I really want to stop wearing spectacles. Is there any treatment or surgery that can help me with this? Could you suggest what options I have?
With a prescription of 2.25 in both eyes, you are a good candidate for vision correction options like LASIK or PRK surgery, which can reduce or eliminate the need for glasses. Alternatively, you could consider corrective contact lenses or newer procedures like SMILE. It’s important to have a thorough eye exam to determine the best and safest option for you.
