I'm 22 and female with an eye power of 0.25 spherical and 1.75 cylindrical in both eyes. I really don't like wearing glasses would LASIK surgery be a good option for me? I'm a bit nervous about it but curious if it could work for my prescription.

View allI have keratoconus in my eyes and really want to avoid surgery. I've attached my Oculus Pentacam report can you help me understand how severe my condition is right now? What stage is my keratoconus at and how serious is it? Also, could you explain my corneal thickness readings and what treatment options would work best for this level without needing surgery?
While keratoconus is not curable in the sense of reversing the corneal shape, it can be effectively managed and vision improved without surgery. Treatments like eyeglasses, contact lenses, and corneal cross-linking (CXL) can help control its progression and enhance vision.

my eye power is 5 in both eyes and I have hypermyopia in the left eye can I still get lasik surgery
It is possible to get LASIK surgery with a +5.00 diopter prescription for hyperopia (farsightedness) in one eye and a similar prescription in the other eye, but it depends on several factors, including corneal thickness and overall eye health. A consultation with an ophthalmologist is crucial to determine if you are a suitable candidate.
