View allMy nephew is 9 and has had undescended testis since birth. The government hospital recommended surgery but I want a second opinion. Should I see a pediatrician, pediatric surgeon, general surgeon, or urologist for this?

Had a laparoscopic appendectomy 5 months ago but now getting pain on the right side of my abdomen again - what could be causing this? The pain just started recently and I'm not sure if it's related to the surgery or something else
It's possible the right-side abdominal pain you're experiencing 5 months after your laparoscopic appendectomy could be due to stump appendicitis, a rare complication where a remaining part of the appendix becomes inflamed. Other potential causes include scar tissue, hernias, or other abdominal issues. It's crucial to consult with your doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment.
