I am 22 years old and have been experiencing chest pain on the left side. I recently had a blood test, and the report shows an elevated WBC count of 12,440 and neutrophils at 77. All other parameters are within the normal range. Could this be a sign of blood cancer, or is it related to some other infection or condition?

A mildly raised WBC count with high neutrophils usually indicates infection or inflammation, not cancer. At 22 years old, it is more likely to be a minor infection. Still, visit a doctor for chest pain evaluation.

My recent blood report shows hemoglobin of 10.1 g/dL, ESR of 15 mm/hr, PCV of 32.6 percent, Salmonella Typhi O at 1:80, Salmonella Typhi H at 1:80, and CRP at 16.3 IU/mL. I have been experiencing watery diarrhea and high fever for the past three days. Additionally, I underwent hip surgery with screws a month ago. Could this be stomach flu, or should I be concerned about typhoid or another infection?
