I am 25 years old and not doing heavy work, just office work. Sometimes I get pain in my left chest when I feel afraid or panic. During the pain, I do not have sweating or breathing problems. May I know why this happens? Is it due to cholesterol or something else?

Chest pain during fear or panic without sweating or breathlessness is often stress related. It can be due to anxiety, muscle tension, acid reflux, or mild chest wall strain. Cholesterol rarely causes sudden pain at your age unless theres family history. Avoid excess caffeine, get proper sleep, and try breathing exercises. check bp.

View allI recently had my lipid profile done, and my triglycerides are 193 mg/dL, while the normal limit is less than 150 mg/dL. My weight and BMI are normal, but I delivered a baby 8 months ago, consumed a lot of desi ghee, and currently have minimal physical activity. Could you please advise how I can reduce my triglycerides? Do I need medication, or can it be managed with diet and lifestyle changes?
