I am a 27 year old female working professional. I go to the office at 5 PM and return home around 3 AM. I have been experiencing a fever every night, with temperatures around 100 to 101F, which goes away in the morning. I also feel extremely tired, with constant muscle aches and fatigue. I have undergone tests for typhoid and a CBC, which were normal, but the nightly fever has persisted for the last 3 to 4 months. Additionally, I have experienced significant unintentional weight loss. I am unsure what to do next. Could you please advise?

Night fever with fatigue, weight loss, and muscle pain for months needs deeper evaluation. Your CBC being okay does not rule out infections like TB, autoimmune conditions, or hormonal issues. Fever only at night is a red flag. Ask your doctor to do ESR, CRP, Chest Xray, ANA test, and Thyroid Profile. Also test for Vitamin D, as deficiency can cause muscle pulling and fatigue. You should visit an internal medicine specialist.
Dr. Yusuf Suggests...
Take a ERYTHROCYTE SEDIMENTATION RATE (ESR) Test or Take a C-REACTIVE PROTEIN (CRP) - QUANTITATIVE Test

View allI have had a fever for the last 3 days. I tested for COVID, typhoid, and malaria, all are negative. When I take paracetamol, the fever goes down for 6 hours, then rises again to 101 degrees F. It is now the 4th day. What should I do? I have attached my blood test report. Please kindly help and suggest.
