I am a 27 year old male with functional dyspepsia. Most foods upset me, so I have to follow a restricted diet. I am under treatment, but the medicines do not help much. If I do not take a short sleep between 1 and 4 p.m., I develop headaches, forehead pain, and eye pain, which prevents me from studying in the evening. If I take a one hour nap, these problems do not occur, but it affects my nighttime sleep. It is not possible to nap during the day because I have to attend college. All my blood reports are normal. Please suggest a solution?

Functional dyspepsia can cause fatigue and discomfort. Afternoon headaches may be due to tiredness, screen strain, or poor sleep. Try 10 to 15 minutes of quiet rest post lunch instead of sleeping. Maintain a fixed sleep schedule, avoid screens before bed, eat light meals, and stay hydrated. If symptoms persist, check for vitamin deficiencies.
Dr. Yusuf Suggests...
Take a VITAMIN B12 Test or Take a 1,25-DIHYDROXY VITAMIN D (CHOLECALCIFEROL) Test
