I am a 34 year old, non smoker, non alcoholic person. My current triglyceride level is 367 mg/dL. My doctor has advised me to take Tonact TG. I want to know if Tonact TG can increase blood sugar levels. Please advise. Thank you.

Tonact TG contains statins and fenofibrate, used to lower high triglycerides. Fenofibrate may slightly increase blood sugar in some cases, but it is generally safe if monitored, especially if you are not diabetic. Maintain a low fat diet, regular exercise, and periodic monitoring of your lipid profile and blood sugar while on medication.

My fasting test report shows the following: Total cholesterol: 265 mg/dl, Triglycerides: 256 mg/dl, HDL: 44.8 mg/dl, LDL: 171 mg/dl, VLDL: 171 mg/dl, Non HDL: 220 mg/dl. Could you please assist in interpreting these results? What could be the possible reasons for these values, and is this really risky?

Please suggest. Five months back I went through forceps delivery. My alkaline phosphatase and cholesterol levels are crossing the border range. Calcium oxalate crystals are identified in my urine report?
