I have high cholesterol and would like guidance on how to control it. I have attached my report for reference. Could you also advise on the possible side effects and long term complications if it is not controlled?

Control with low fat diet, avoid fried foods, increase fiber (fruits, oats), exercise 30 min daily. Long term risks include heart disease and stroke.

View allHi, I recently had a blood test, and the results show: Slightly higher levels of LDL Cholesterol (Direct), Triglycerides, HbA1c, and High Sensitivity C Reactive Protein (hs CRP) Slightly lower levels of Monocytes (Absolute Count) and Mean Corpuscular Hemoglobin Concentration (MCHC) I would like a holistic analysis of these results and recommendations based on my report. If any further tests are needed, I am willing to get them done. Also, I am unsure whether I should consult a General Physician or a Dietician/Nutrition Specialist.
