My HDL cholesterol level is 33, which is considered low and a risk factor. I have been suffering from Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus for the last 19 years. What steps should I take to increase my HDL levels safely?

An HDL of 33 is low and increases heart risk, especially with long term diabetes. You can raise it by doing daily walking, eating healthy fats like nuts and olive oil, and avoiding fried or junk food. Managing sugar, stress, and weight also helps. Regular activity and better food choices are key. Consider getting the following tests done: Lipid profile, LFT

Sir, I am obese, weighing 104 kg with a height of 5.11. I am 32 years old, male. I have cholesterol 221, triglycerides 149, HDL 40, and higher LDL. I saw a video on YouTube about weight loss with cinnamon tea. Can you please tell me the detailed benefits and usage for my present condition? Should I take it or not? Thank you.

I have been prescribed Lipitor 20 mg once daily at bedtime since January 2016. Is it safe for me to stop this medication and try natural or home remedies to reduce my cholesterol instead? My blood sugar is under control. Please advise.
