I experienced heavy menstruation for two consecutive months, and my blood test showed that my TSH level was elevated to 7.2 microIU/mL. Following a friend medical advice, I have started taking Thyroxine Sodium 25 mcg tablets. Will this treatment help normalize my next menstrual cycle, or will I also need hormonal therapy? I am concerned about the possible side effects of hormonal treatment, such as weight gain. Please advise the best approach. I am attaching my reports for your review.

Elevated TSH could cause heavy periods. Thyroxine should help regulate cycles, but monitor TSH in 6 weeks. Hormonal therapy not always needed.

Hi Sir, for the past one month I have been feeling very hot all over my body, but my thermometer shows a normal temperature. I have done all the necessary blood tests with a trusted doctor, but no solution was found. I have been taking antibiotics for the past month, but the doctor advised me to stop due to side effects. About six months ago, I had the same problem, and at that time the same doctor prescribed antibiotics as nothing abnormal was found in the blood report. Please advise what I should do now and which type of doctor I should consult?

I am having heaviness and gastric discomfort. I had a body checkup one year ago, which showed mild fatty liver, and everything else was fine. Now I feel heaviness along the right rib line extending to my back. I had pain while walking 15 days ago. I consulted a doctor, and he suggested some tests: Thyroid T3 2.34, T4 8.1, TSH 9.01, HBsAg negative, total cholesterol 217, triglycerides 207, HDL 42, LDL 115, VLDL 39, cholesterol/HDL ratio 4.5, LFT normal, total bilirubin 1, and urine routine examination normal. The doctor prescribed Hepataz tablet for 15 days and Roseday 20 mg for 3 months. Now my pain is gone, but I feel heaviness at night during sleep and after eating. Please advise?
