Today is my second day of medication and the sixth day of typhoid symptoms. My fever goes down after taking the medicines, but a mild fever (98.8 to 99.1F) returns after 8 to 9 hours. I am very nervous because of the many negative stories about typhoid online, and I am alone in Delhi. I am concerned whether this dose is appropriate or too high, and whether this treatment is safe and effective.

But results of WIDAL SLIDE mention S. Typhi 'O' as positive (1:80). Do I have typhoid? I am travelling out of the country in 3 days and need inputs asap.

I got married recently and my periods have been delayed for three days. I have severe fever in the evening and night for the past 8 days. My blood report suggests typhoid 1:40 dilution. Can I take Taximo 200 mg? Is it safe or should I avoid it?

A dilution of 1:40 may not confirm typhoid. If symptoms persist, further evaluation is needed. Taximo (cefixime) is generally safe but should be taken under doctor guidance.
