I got my wisdom teeth out five days ago and couldn't keep down the pain medication because it made me sick the first day. Now there's a big hard lump in my cheek that hasn't gone away. I've been icing it and taking the amoxicillin like I was told to prevent infection, but there's still this awful taste in my mouth and the pain is just too much. I saw the oral surgeon yesterday, but all they did was open my mouth and send me home, telling me to rest. What should I do now?

While some swelling and discomfort are normal after wisdom tooth removal, the pain and ongoing symptoms you're describing need to be addressed. Since you're already on antibiotics and have been to the surgeon, it may be helpful to follow up soon for a more thorough check, especially if you think the pain and lump are related to an infection or dry socket. Dont hesitate to let your surgeon know if the pain persists or if new symptoms develop.

View allOne of my teeth got slanted to the side after an injury and I'm not sure if this needs surgery or if there are other ways to fix it. What kind of treatment would work best for this and how does the procedure usually go?
If a tooth has shifted due to injury, an orthodontist or dentist can typically assess the situation and recommend a treatment plan. This may involve braces, clear aligners (like Invisalign), or in some cases, surgery to reposition the tooth and jaw.

I've had braces before to fix my front teeth sticking out, but I'm still not happy with how they look. Would upper jaw surgery be an option for me? I'm a bit worried about whether it's necessary or what the process would be like.
Jaw surgery may be a corrective option if you have a jaw condition that braces alone can't fix. Usually, you also have braces on your teeth before surgery and while you recover after surgery until healing and alignment are complete

I'm really scared about getting my wisdom tooth removed because it's partially grown and causing me a lot of pain. I've heard about laser-assisted surgery does it actually help with less pain and no stitches? I'm super anxious about the whole procedure
Yes LASER assisted surgery is better but then it adds to the cost. The conventional flap raising method is time tested
