I had laser surgery for piles and fissure on 29th September but still haven't passed any stool only gas and some bloody discharge. Is this normal or should I be worried? What can I do to ease this?

After laser surgery for piles and fissures, it's not uncommon to experience delayed bowel movements or mild discomfort. If you're concerned, consult your surgeon for advice. You can try fiber supplements, warm baths, and stool softeners to help ease discomfort.

View allI've been dealing with a fistula since 2013 and already had two surgeries but it's still not fixed Now my doctor is recommending laser surgery since the fistula is connected to my anal canal I'm really confused about whether to go for it or not Does laser surgery work better for this type of fistula and what are the risks compared to regular surgery
Laser fistula surgery is minimally invasive and may reduce recurrence compared to conventional surgery;risks include incontinence if muscle is damaged.

I'm 17 and have an anal fistula diagnosed by a surgeon. My mom prefers homeopathic treatment, but I'm not sure it's working. She's against surgery what are my other options or signs I should look for to know if it's improving?

I've been dealing with complete rectal prolapse for over 10 years since I was young and now I'm 19. I'm scheduled for TRRPCS surgery but I'm not sure if it's the best option for me especially since I want to join the defense forces. Are there better surgical alternatives I should consider that would fit my active career goals?
TRRPCS is a good option for young patients with prolapse; however, rectopexy or laparoscopic procedures may offer better durability for physically demanding careers.
