I had unprotected intercourse on 17th November, which was my last day of fertile window, and after 7 hours I took an i pill. My period was due on 25th November but I did not get my period and I got some discharge mixed with brown blood on 26th and 27th November. I am feeling menstrual symptoms but not getting my period. I have done a urine pregnancy test and it was negative. Is this a side effect of the i pill?

Yes, the I Pill can delay or disturb your period, especially if taken during the fertile window. Brown discharge and cramps are common side effects. A negative urine test after 7 to 0 days usually rules out pregnancy, but you can repeat it in 2 to 3 days for reassurance. Your symptoms may mimic periods without actual bleeding. No need to worry give it a few more days.

Hi doctor, we have been married for seven years. We do not have children. After two years, this month my period is delayed by 36 days. I took a home pregnancy test today and it shows negative.
