I have a 28 day cycle, but today is the 31st day, and I have not yet gotten my period. We have been trying for a baby for the last few months. Is this missed period a sign of pregnancy? After how many days of a missed period should a home pregnancy test be done?

Since you have a regular 28 day cycle and today is Day 31, you can definitely take a urine pregnancy test now, especially if you are trying for a baby. Use the first morning urine for best results. If the test is negative and you still do not get your period, repeat it after 2 to 3 days. For earlier confirmation, a Beta HCG blood test gives more accurate results.

Take a UPT Test (Urine Pregnancy) Test or Take a Beta HCG Test Test

I am O positive and my husband is B positive. I am married for one and a half years. Before marriage I had a completely regular period cycle of 29 days. After marriage, in whichever month I had sex, my period gets delayed by 6 to 7 days. In the month in which I do not have sex, periods come in 29 to 31 days. We did not use any pills or condoms. The only method was no inside ejaculation. Now we want a baby. In September month, for the first time he ejaculated inside me. Now I have completely missed my period this October month. My last period was on 1st September. UPT is negative. Blood test HCG 0.44 mIU/ml is also negative. What is this behaviour?

I had unprotected intercourse on 17th November, which was my last day of fertile window, and after 7 hours I took an i pill. My period was due on 25th November but I did not get my period and I got some discharge mixed with brown blood on 26th and 27th November. I am feeling menstrual symptoms but not getting my period. I have done a urine pregnancy test and it was negative. Is this a side effect of the i pill?

My periods started on 2nd June. On 22nd June, I took an emergency contraceptive (ipill) after unprotected intercourse. My next period was expected on 3rd July, but it did not come, so I took a home urine pregnancy test on 11th July evening, which was negative. For the past two days, I have been experiencing very dark spotting. What could this mean? Could I still be pregnant, and should I test again?
