I have an 11.5 power in my glasses and I'm considering Lasik surgery is it usually a one-time procedure or are follow-ups needed? Also, what's the approximate cost and which are the best clinics in Hyderabad for this? I'm a bit nervous about the whole process and want to make sure I pick the right place.

I'm planning to get Lasik eye surgery soon but I'm really confused about which type to choose. There are so many options like SMILE, iFS, and others, and I want to make sure I pick the safest and most suitable one for my eyes. My current prescription is RE 7.50 SPH 1.50 CYL 180 AXIS Vision 66 and LE 8.00 SPH 0.75 CYL 180 AXIS Vision 66. Can you help me understand which Lasik technology would work best for my high power and give me the best results? I'm a bit worried about safety and long-term effects.

For high prescription (7–8D with astigmatism),Flap LASIK techniques like femto+wavefront or SMILE are preferable—discuss options with surgeon for safety and precision.

My wife is 31 and has been wearing glasses for the past 10 years. She's considering FemtoLasik but I'm really worried about her safety. Is she a good candidate for this surgery and what are the real risks involved? Should she go ahead with FemtoLasik or is it safer to just stick with glasses and contacts since ReLEx SMILE isn't available here yet?

V have SMILE in our country. Infact v r one of the foremost country to start ReLEX SMILE . Send me the details and i will be able to help after seeing the corneal topography, pachymetry and other details.

My myopia is at -7 and keeps getting worse, plus I'm seeing these floaters everywhere. Should I be worried about this? Do I need surgery or is there another way to manage it?

Should you worry about flashes and floaters? Both are very common, especially in older people, and more often than not they are nothing to worry about. If they are bothersome, dark glasses have been found to minimise the presence of floaters and you can discuss options with your optometrist.
